BEGINNER BACHATA BASICS

This class is designed to be very accessible with a slow to moderate pace. It is for levels from complete beginners with no experience to several months or even up to 1 year of Bachata dance experience. It covers Bachata basic steps foundational to all styles (Traditional, Modern/Urban/Sensual), as well as general dance body mechanics & drills, timing, frame, common turn combinations and some less than common variations to keep the class exciting.

SENSUAL BACHATA ESSENTIALS

This class is an evolution from our progressive foundations program. It's designed to be the "glue" to connect the dots and give students a comprehensive understanding of all the elements that allow for people to learn, understand and dance "Sensual Bachata" or "Bachata Sensual" clearly, comfortably, and most importantly, safely. We recommend most students that take one of the other 2 classes to take this class as well - from experienced beginners all the way to advanced intermediate levels in Bachata specifically so you can ensure you fill in any missing gaps in your understanding. During this class we cover an essential element of the Sensual style according to a revolving multi-month syllabus with fresh variations each cycle. This will build a bridge from our Beginner class or other classes you might have taken and prepare you to quickly learn and execute what we teach in our 3rd hour class.

STUDENT MINI-SOCIAL

This 30 minute break between our 2nd & 3rd classes is our dinner time but your PARTY time! Hang out, dance, practice and get to know your fellow students on a more personal level with a Bachata playlist setting the vibe.

MOVES, COMBOS & STYLING

This class is an evolution from our previous Intermediate class. Now open to all levels, it is really fun, moderate to fast paced and meant to be challenging but still accessible - always slowing down as needed to really focus on technique. This is a raw, organic class meant to teach you how to up your social dancing. There is no cookie-cutter choreo. Students give us a song selection of their choice and we dance to it and pull out moves, combinations and styling variations that match the music and teach those on the spot.
